Everyday Enchantment Bookmark

Today's quick and easy craft idea is a magnetic bookmark made from Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper from the 2012 Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  This paper is my favorite!

 

Enchantment Bookmark! 

 

Foundation - I started with Poppy Parade CS (119793) that I die cut with the Two Tag Bigz Die (11595)

Layer 1 - I cut the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (127279 Sala-A-Bration Catalog) to fit just inside of the Two Tag Bigz Die and rounded the corners using the 3/16" Corner Punch (119871)

Layer 2 - I punched out a 1 3/4" Scallop Circle in Poppy Parade and layered a 1 3//8" Circle Punch (119860) of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper. I added a brad from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack (127279 Sale-A-Bration Catalog)

Layer 3 - The butterfly was die cut from the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die (114507) on Everyday Enchantment Paper.

Emblishments - The butterfly was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (104430). I also added small magnetic to make this a magnetic bookmark.

A Day Of Gratitude...

Gratitude can transform common days into Thanksgivings!  I love this saying from the Day of Gratitude stamp set. I hope you're enjoying some great fall weather in your neck of the woods, I know we are here in Illinois.  It's raining today and the last of the leaves on my trees are falling to the ground making a beautiful display of fall colors!  I think watching the trees turn color is one of my favorite things about this time of the year. Check Out This Bold Blossom Card Idea

Here's a simple and clean card idea.  I used the new Bold Blossom stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog. I stamped all of my images in the New In-Colors from the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog. The flower stem is Lucky Limeade, the butterfly is Wisteria Wonder and the greeting is Island Indigo. The flower was punched using the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch with Calypso Coral card stock. And I added a little lace to the bottom with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch and a Rhinestone Jewel to the center of the flower . Quick, Clean and Simple.  I love it!

Get Well Soon...

I needed a get well card this week and when I checked my collection of cards I just could find that special get well card that I needed.  Has that every happened to you? So, I took this as a creative moment and designed this card.  I love the colors and of course Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers!

• Tools: 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch (118874), 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon Very Vanilla (119960), Crochet Trim Victoria 5/8" (118481), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Tip of the Day: I stamped the hydrangea twice on
Whisper White card stock. Punched one of them out using the Scallop Circle Punch and added Dimensionals to the back and layered in on top of the other hydrangea.  This gives a little dimension and a 3-D effect!
