After playing around with some card designs, I noticed I had lots of scrap Designer Series Paper all over my craft table. So I thought would see what I could come up with. I had seen a card earlier where they used an oval punch to make a flower vase. So that's where this card started, with the flower vase.

I have two types of this flower growing in my garden. One has yellow leaves with a black center and the other has red leaves with a brown center. And since pink is my new favorite color, I decided to be inspired by my flower garden but to do the colors all in pink. This was a really fun card to make. Here's what I used:

I found some time this past weekend to stamp a little. On this card I used my Big Shot and tried my hand at the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. Here's what used:

Inks: StazOn Black and Classic Rich Razzleberry ink pads; Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Rose Red, So Saffron and More Mustard Markers.
